Lily Of The Valley Gold & Diamond Flower Stud Earrings With Lapis
A fabulous estate pair of flower stud earrings with a bold presence and incredible sparkle. Beautifully rendered in gleaming 18ct gold, the earrings feature an abstract lily of the valley in bloom and sit very comfortably on the ear, creating a “drop” effect. The front petals add depth to the design and are adorned with 40 sparkly round brilliant-cut diamonds, measuring a total of 1.20 carats. A triangular modified lapis lazuli cabochon in the most electrifying blue hue sits at the centre for a splash of colour. These vintage dazzlers were sourced from an auction in the US and date from the 1980s-1990s. This period’s jewellery was all about power-dressing styles that oozed confidence and originality. Gold and diamonds defined the era’s fine jewels, with bold and eye-catching designs gaining a loyal fanbase.
